Please note, that any attempt to PING/ECHO Kastens servers will result in a firewall block of your IP for 24 hours.

Kasten does not permit PING/ECHO traffic because of the problems it can cause in site delay, inappropriate traffic use, displaying information about servers that can be used to target, etc.

We take a great dealof pride in our security of your sites and our servers. They have been hardened, are scanned daily, and locked down to prevent use beyond that authorized.


No exceptions will be made. If you feel that you need to be able to PING your servers, please find another host that permits this type of activity.
